Welcome to the Lee County District Attorney’s Office
The Lee County District Attorney’s Office is located in Opelika, Alabama & is the State Prosecutorial Office serving Lee County and its more than150,000 citizens. Lee County covers 616 square miles, is located in the central Eastern part of Alabama adjacent to Georgia, and is the home of Auburn University and Jordan-Hare Stadium, Historic Dowtown Opelika, and Smiths Station.
District Attorney Robbie Treese and his staff of five full-time and three part-time Assistant District Attorneys prosecute all felony cases occurring in Lee County, Alabama. The District Attorney’s Office also prosecutes traffic violations & misdemeanors except those which occur within the cities of Opelika or Auburn where the municipal courts hear those cases. The Lee County District Attorney’s prosecution team is composed of highly competent, dedicated trial attorneys whose priority is to seek justice for all victims of crime.
